Today for Personal Progress, visit new.familysearch.org. If you already have an lds.org account, log in. If not, create one. Here you will find the temple ordinances information on the deceased relatives in your family. Record the information on your pedigree chart. If you are having trouble, it might be helpful to contact a someone from a Family History Center nearby. Sign off on Individual Worth 6.

PROJECT TIP: Highlight those ordinances that need to be completed and use that information for a Good Works Value Project where you prepare their names for ordinances and attend the temple on their behalf. We will be doing this together soon. But don’t wait on us if you are anxious to get started.

Keep working on those standards! (4/21)

2013 April 6

Today for Personal Progress, you need pray and you need to look at your list of talents and skills you'd like to develop and choose one to work on. It wouldn't hurt to pray for guidance on which skill to choose.

Here are some ideas and links to resources. In addition to what I've provided, be sure to check out your local library. Libraries always have a wealth of how-to books! Don't forget textbooks too for things like Nutrition. There are many, many options for skills you could choose. You do not have to choose one of these. Since learning a new skill takes time, lots of time, I've noted where you might be able to combine this with a project. If you find other resources that would be helpful to others, please share them in the comments.
